Low Level Rating & Endorsements
Low Level Rating (H)
A Low Level Rating is an operational rating. It allows you to conduct flight below the legal limits when operationally required. (See CAR 157 for details). Our course is a 5 hour (minimum) flying course followed by a flight test. A low level rating will be issued for the helicopter category with additional endorsements also available, listed below.
Sling
A Sling endorsement on your Low Level Rating allows you to carry external loads beneath the helicopter. This is a practical endorsement to have in rural and or air work environments. Our course is a 3 hours (minimum) flying course, followed by a flight test.
Aerial Mustering
An Aerial Mustering endorsement on your Low Level Rating allows you to conduct aerial stock mustering operations. Our course is a 5 hours (minimum) flying course, followed by a flight test.
